Event Description

The USAID Teacher Education Project in Pakistan is pleased to sponsor an international conference on teacher education, recruitment, and policy.

Although there is a general consensus that effective teacher preparation is critical for education reform, there are many debates on how it should actually be implemented, how it affects student learning outcomes, and how it may impact future education policy.

As teacher preparation efforts are being developed, implemented, and reshaped on a global scale, this international conference will focus on a number of themes related to teacher education reform.
